Vols. 1-5 (1928-1940) contain references to his research in the field of spectroscopy, employment opportunities in Germany, loss of his position at Darmstadt in 1935, emigration to Canada to teach at University of Saskatchewan. Vols. 6-39 (1950-1962) contain his correspondence as head of the Division of Physics at the National Research Council. Includes letters of reference, notices, evaluations of research papers, minutes, reports and by-laws of scientific societies.
